Field Hockey Ontario hires Admin & Events Coordinator

Field Hockey Ontario is pleased to announce the hiring of Luis Paredes as our Admin & Event Coordinator, effective Monday, May 10th, 2021. 

In this role, Luis will oversee membership, club communication, insurance, website maintenance, and FHO's internship program. Luis will also be responsible for planning and developing all FHO events: May Meltdown, June Jamboree, coach and umpire clinics, and the Ontario Summer and Winter Games. 

Luis comes to FHO with a background in sport, specifically in provincial sport organizations. While completing his Advanced Diploma in Sport Management at Humber College, Luis interned with Boxing Ontario for two semesters in marketing and event management roles. Upon graduating from Humber College, Luis was then contracted full-time with Boxing Ontario as their Marketing, Administrative and Business Development Coordinator. Luis has also worked for Badminton Ontario and Ontario Soccer as their Member Services Coordinator and Match Officials Development Coordinator respectively. Most recently, Luis served as the Operations Intern with North Mississauga Soccer Club. 

Luis will be working alongside Kaitlyn Green through this transition. Kaitlyn's last day with Field Hockey Ontario will be Friday, May 28th, 2021.
