Field Hockey Ontario is happy to welcome Rachel Patterson to the FHO Community and welcome back Stephen Collins! Rachel and Stephen are joining as Interns for the Spring/Summer Semester. 

Rachel just completed her 3rd year of Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College. Prior to this program, she obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Brock University where she was also team captain of the varsity swim team and was a recipient of the U Sports student-athlete community service award. 

She has previously worked with the Toronto Leaside Jr. Wildcats hockey team, Brock University Swim Team, and at the Brock Sport Medicine Clinic. 

When Rachel has free time she enjoys hiking, cycling, and cross-stitching!

Rachel holds the role of Student Athletic Therapist with Field Hockey Ontario and is looking forward to working with our staff and athletes this summer! 

Stephen is a Graduate Student pursuing studies at Humber College in their Sports Business Management program. Stephen is a former Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director in Ontario and Quebec having taught in the school system for 23 years. 

As an Intern with FHO, Stephen is looking to gain experience working in sport in the not-for-profit sector and looking to translate some of the skills he has learned in education to sport outside of the school setting. 

Stephen holds the role of Operations Intern with Field Hockey Ontario.
