It has been an incredibly unique season this year with FHO, but we are truly humbled and honoured to see so many dedicated members whose passion for the sport remains strong.
As the end of the current season draws near, we are now accepting nominations for four (4) positions on the Board of Directors with roles to begin in the 2020-2021 membership season. There are three (3) directors at large and one executive (president) position available.
The Board of Directors is centrally responsible for providing good governance, stewardship, and related policies for FHO while taking into account the interests of the various stakeholders of the organization.
We at FHO don’t just accept difference – we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our players, coaches, officials, members, and our sporting community at large. FHO is proud to be an equal opportunity organization starting with the board, employees, volunteers, and committee members.
Individuals interested in joining the Board of Directors must be nominated by, and seconded by a current FHO member - as indicated on the nomination form. The form will ask for the individuals’ name, club affiliation (if applicable), and FHO ER number.
All nominations must be received by November 1st, 2020 in order for the Nomination Committee to have time to review all nominations. Directors will be elected at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for Sunday, November 22nd, 2020.
