FHO is always looking to create a more inclusive and inviting community, but we know that financial obstacles can prevent many athletes from getting involved. 

Jumpstart has some great  grant opportunities for families who need some support. Their Individual Child Funding Grants provide up to $300 per activity, per child, with a maximum amount of funding a child can receive in a year of $600. These grants can be used to help cover program costs, such as sports camps or leagues/teams with at least one session per week for a minimum of 5 weeks. 

The applications for 2020 have just opened, and close once all funds have been depleted for the year. We highly encourage our members to take advantage of grant opportunities, as we believe in the power of sport and the numerous benefits it provides, especially for young minds.
