It is with great pleasure we announce that Sacha-Rae Teixeira is the recipient of the 2019 Woman’s Fund Bursary. The primary purpose of the Woman’s Fund Bursary is to develop woman’s field hockey in Ontario by supporting woman to improve their coaching, officiating, playing, or volunteering skills or capacity.  Sacha is one of 20 PAFH officials invited from across the Americas and the Caribbean to attend the FIH Level 4 Technical Officials Course in Lima, Peru. According to the new FIH mandate all officials must attend this certification to continue officiating local or international tournaments. Sacha is a long time member of the Ontario field hockey community and is committed to sharing her experience by training young officials and by acting as a technical official for club, provincial and national level tournaments. Well done Sacha!
